Nail bind experiences

Has anyone had experiences of it lingering longer than a week?

Yes but as the mare in question was so lame, vet was called out pronto and advised what it was. Mare was lame for the best part of 10 days.

yes I have a horse that goes unlevel after about two weeks in a set of shoes, he has had an accident and the hoof wall is too thin for even the thinnest most concave nails. He is unshod now and sound all the time. Previously I had a horse that abcessed following nail bind , he came sound once the abcess was released.

No, just a day or two, but it does concentrate the mind on ensuring the horse is not shod in the days prior to an important engagement.

How long did it take your horse to get over the bail bond in the end? My boy had a nail bind fixed on Thursday and is still lame now.... Not 3 legged lame but uneven when trotting...
