Nail Clippers for Labrador?

Her nails are getting way too long for my liking and no where has any time slots for her.
I bought some horrible plastic guillotine clippers from P@H (I left very quickly too avoid feeling sorry for the animals) rubbish things and she's sitting on the bed grumbling at me now in disgust. I don't trust any of the P@H staff anymore so anyone got any recommendations?
I was going to buy one of those electric grinder things but I don't think she'd be very pleased with me and I have a slight phobia of sandpaper lol

Most vets would be happy to do her nails for you if you can't find a time slot at a groomers?

Try a large file from a DIY shop. Mine is a "flat *******" it cost £3 from Wilkos
