LOL - used to know a horse who was registered as Topless. The owner/rider would always attract a crowd when she was announced in to jump, "Now entering the arena we have Josephine Bloggs riding Topless"

There is (was) a pony called Topless in Jersey. Commentators now refuse to announce the horse after the rider they will only announce it as and now is Topless ridden by ....

In the US years ago, it was very vogue-ish to name your arab something authentic sounding (and probably complete crap to any actual arabic speaker) "Bint Bla Bla Bla" or "Fer Bla Bla Bla" so I totally loved it at the Scottsdale show, when a nice lil horse was announced as Fer Dam Sure.

Years ago I had a great little cob called Useless.
Had to laugh abot the arab names, some of them are crazy I agree. I used to breed them and one year had a filly and a colt, called them I'Mashee and I'Mahee, it wasn't until people said the names a few times that they realised that it wasn't even vaguely Arabic at all.
