Have a foalie due in the spring and need names for colt and filly. Mum is Polly Flinders and Dad Tiny Tim, so something from a nursery rhyme or Dickens might be ideal?

My favourite Grand Old Duke of York but a bit of a mouthfull!

Any ideas? Oh, and not Humpty Dumpty as a friend "helpfully" suggested - couldn't sell that one to the kids!

Thanks - a great help! Most of them just hadn't occurred to me and I like a lot. Jack Sprat is good (we had one pony red'g as Jack Snip because the SJAI got the bird's name wrong and put that instead of Jack Snipe!) and Doctor Foster. Let's hope it's a colt in that case!

Any others gratefully received! Off to check the BSJA website to see which ones have been used before for small ponies!
