I like merlin (as this is what I called) my mams blue shaggy lurcher:D and he really suits it.
My blue whippet is funnily enough called = Blue:D (she was already names this when I got her) my blue whippet before her was called Jodie (already named that too):D
I had a boy years ago blue whippet called flick (he was a rescue) called TIC:eek: so flick was close:D and my blue/peach brindle whippet x grey boy I have now is also called flick.

......but I think Smurf would be very cute! Of course if you can't think of a name you will have to post him to me to save yourself the trauma of indecision :D

You realise whatever you decide to call him, he will now be refered to as Smurf by all of AAD forever more, don't you?

Splashgirl45 HUGE apologies, in my excitement I obviously didn't read through the replies carefully enough. So belated thank you!

Smokey is a sweetheart, but is intent on chewing everything he shouldn't, exploring everywhere that is off limits and having a sneaky pee in the house, after I've brought him in, having spent a chilly 15mins hovering in the garden!?! LOL. :)
