Hi Everyone,
I am posting this here as there is a bit more traffic than in the dogs forums,
My mum is rescuing a poor little blonde retriever bitch, to be collected on Sunday.
She is only 18 months old and has been kept in a shed her entire life, never had a collar on, been on a grass garden or been in a house, she is very small and thin and filthy dirty, at her poor young age she has already had a litter of pups which were still born - I think the intended use for this dog was basically to breed and breed and breed from her - but as this was not successful she was dumped.
She is coming home on Sunday and we need a nice name for her.
Mum already has a lovely 2 year old Newfoundland called Holly (I was thinking Holly and Ivy as per the Xmas carol) but my mum knew a woman called Ivy whom she didnt get on with so isnt keen on the name!
Any ideas for a name for this lovely little girl would be appreciated, she will think she is in heaven on Sunday when she has a loving home, huge garden, and lots of love.
Thank you for reading,
Gem
