Hi all
My little cob, the coloured in my siggy (the one without hair) needs a good show name. His current name is Bracken and to be honest I want something a little more interesting for the show ring. Can't think of anything including his current name, should I ignore the current name and go for something completely different??
He is the sweetest kindest horse and I would like something funny/ clever/ interesting .... any ideas?? Please help.

Thanks

Will have a think - he looks lovely. What sort of name are you looking for? Traditional, funky, some sort of pun on "cob"? Any breeding etc. or names of other horses that it could be related to.

In the mean time I love the name Malteaser or Toblerone! (and I did try to convince my friend to call her cob Monster Munch or Cob and Chips but she wasn't having any of it!)

I was trying to think of something that was funky, using either his name or cob or coloured or something like this. Not sure about the chocolate names, but quite like Monster Munch (he does love his food) He'd never had hard feeds before I bought him and he absolutely loves it, he scoffs it very quick and you can't get his attention at all (even for carrots) when he has his feed.

My local kebab house is called Mega Munch.......has a nice ring to it??

Fine and Dandy - like your suggestions, you're not useless at all!
I have been searching websites for names, never knew there were so many
Still don't know what to do, compiling a list of faves - keep them coming - really appreciate it

How about something with Cobblestones? I think that sounds nice. I def like Cobalicious as well.

I don't usually post on name threads but I am having a particularly boring day at work.

Well my little daughter wanted to read this post and said how about Mango Chutney?!

Don't know where that idea came from - her favourite accompaniment I think!

My maxi cob mare is called Bracken for short...her show name is where she was born in Ireland "Kilbricken" not very exciting.

Of course Robocob has gone but agree something interesting could be good.

Maybe "I, Rocob" heehee.....

Just mentioned this to my OH...who said how about "Cobol" then I realised its a computer term he's finishing his computer science PhD....useless!!!

I LOVE Mango Chutney - what a cool name for a horse! Tell your daughter she's a genius.

Also like Cob a Feel, Corn on the Cob and Cobblestones

Also thought of The Cobbler?

I love fun names for horses (and also don't have much to do at the moment!)

Bracken Brae?
Bracken's Wispa?
Minstrel? (as in the choccies)
Double chocolate?
Lubberly Cobberly (as in loverly jubberly from delboy)

Thanks all, think I will sleep on it, but need to change it soon before I register him with BSHA as once I do that costs a bomb to change! Do appreciate your help, some great ideas, if you have any more do let me know.
Thanks again
