names of sale yards in yorkshire, york good and bad ones

have been told brilliant sales there to buy and sell. thinking of taken one over there to sell. tell me all you knopw about them please. where is good beside boats as i will be getting boat over form northern ireland. only thinking of this so let me know what you think.

You looking to buy or sell? Are you looking for a private dealers yard or a sales ring andwhat sort of horses?
 
sale yard, was told prices it better there for selling. i sold a few horses here and buyer saud they where taken them to york in yorkshire to sell. wouldnt say where but said wasnt to far from boat. i just thought i would cut out the middle man and maybe drive over myself, well book them in 1st. thanks

I would imagine if they sid they were taking them to York they were talking about York Sales, as for prices I would suggest you have a look at the last few months catalogue results as they were rubbish with horses going for next to nothing eg brood mare in foal to a grade a showjumper 340gs!

The auction site is just off the main road from hull, probably about an hours drive

All coloureds sell well particularly if they are well turned out but there are a lot of dealers attend and a lot of horses end up on the 'sales circuit'
