Looks like he has eaten/been poisoned. He was horrendous when I saw him 2 hours ago- worried he's not going to pull through- vibes desperatley needed for my little boy.

I love him so much and cant bear to see him in such a state.

Sorry rubbish post but needed to talk to people.

:( Awful news.......Any idea how it happened?

<<<<<Vibes>>>>> for Nanook, and some (((((hugs))))) for you.

Stay strong - we're all here for you.
No idea as we have nothing in the house at all- because of the dogs.

We checked the yard but couldn't find anything other than road salt but we didnt see him go anywhere near that. Its a plant or someone doing it intentionally.

Thanks for the vibes. He needs them.

I dont think anyone will be going to bed until we have that update, i dont suppose he got hold of any chocolate by any chance?.
there is non missing from the kitchen-possibly from the yard but it would have to be a decent amount as his simptoms are severe- hyper salivation, partial paralysis of the back legs, spasms, seizures and lack of appreciation of surroundings- i.e. eyes do not change with the light etc

We have been given a 50/50 chance

Vets are charging £1000 for the night so they had better be doing their best for him!

Just been up to see him but he still looks pretty bad. His heart rate is 140bpm and he is panting as though he's just been for a massive run! I really feel for him. I want to see some sorf of improvement in the morning otherwise I'm not sure its fair on him but the vet says to give it a few days....

vets right, you know how long it took Milo to pull round takes time to process the toxins. Have they given him nothing to help his heartrate?

Not as far as I know- he just has a drip in at the moment to try to flush out/dilute the toxins.

I think its just so hard to see him suffering like this.

Youve got to keep positive, i know how you must feel its your dog lying there and the vets must be optimistic so hang in there. Pour yourself a large drink and have an early night so you can see him first thing in the morning. He is in the right place and in good hands we are all rooting for you and Nanook.

He made it through the night and heart rate finally started to drop to normal. Still in vets but has more of a Chance of survival as risk of cardiac arrest has gone. Thanks for all the vibes I think they worked.
