My mare had a bad choke and developed a moderate pneumonia from it at the beginning of July. She spent a week in the Dick vets on IV antibiotics etc. She had clear scans and scopes before being released.
The last couple of days she's had a little discoloured, thick discharge out her nose, a bit of a cough this morning and quite a lot of clear, runny discharge when we hacked out. I also noticed she got out of breath more easily than I would expect (she's not very fit and we were just walking and trotting)
She's herself, not quiet or anything and her temperature is normal.

I do intend to speak to my vet in the morning about her and it's not something I would normally be concerned about unless it was persisting with a temp etc but given her history I'm kinda concerned about her - am I over-reacting about this?

Hi I think with history then playing on the side of caution us best to be safe than sorry hopefully noting to worry about but sleek to ur vets in an may just want to come and check over update tomoz xxhope all ok

Well vet came out to see Roo today and her lungs are clear (thank goodness) but a bit of noise in her upper respiratory. The vet thinks it may be a viral but is more likely to be an allergy/COPD type thing - possible caused by her respiratory tract having some damage from the pneumonia. We can add in ventopulmin if we wanted to but she's not bad enough to need that so going with soaking her haylage, etc. At least she's ok :-)
