Oops just posted elsewhere. That was utterly horrific glad to hear the horse got up. She was fired onto the ground and looked out cold before the camera cut away. Hope she is OK.

It was really a nightmare fall, the sort where you can instantly get killed or have life changing injuries. Luckily I think the horse fell slightly to the side of her. I hope she is ok, she did nothing wrong

Interesting that the "horse friendly" profile seemed to cause the somersault. There will be much discussion as why and how this happened especially over what appeared to be a kind straight combination.

H&C had been buffering for me too, so I didn't see the jump itself, I just saw them both land hard on the ground, with the horse upside down with its legs in the air. I wasn't sure if she'd been clouted by the horse before the live feed resumed.

H&C then cut away smartish.

The live feed had just cut away from Bubby Upton or David Doel to Izzy just before the fall so the approach to the second element was not seen. The horse literally did a forwards somersault over the fence firing Izzy into the ground. The horse landed on its back next to her but did not hit her at all. She was out cold on impact then the feed switched. At some point if it is still up I might review the H&C footage available. I understand H&C screen another companies live feed with H&C commentators on site, as the commentators were also describing the finishes of competitors who were not seen on the feed

From the H&H comp report.

'Technical delegate Gillian Kyle gave an update on Izzy’s condition at the post-cross-country press conference.

“I’m pleased to say Izzy is fine. She is conscious and has been taken to hospital for further observations,” she said. “There doesn’t seem to be any really serious damage, but we will know more later. I would like to wish her well and hope that she makes a speedy recovery.”'
