why do some posters seem to delight in winding other users up and generally relish being as hurtful and vindictive as possible when people just need a little advice or a hug? :confused:
 
Some people are just strange - it reminds me of the people who phoned when my cat was missing saying that they had him and were hurting him. I just tried to pity them - i'm so glad I'm not so unhappy that upsetting others seems like a fun thing to do. Their lives must really lack glitter!x
 
Some people genuinely believe that bad things only happen to people who are stupid or bad themselves. It's a form of insecurity because if you believe that then nothing bad can happen to you because you aren't either of these things. So it's fine to criticise people who have bad luck or make a mistake.

Mind you I may be one of the nasty posters because I upset someone on the huntimg forum tonight by using the term pond life . . .

it was a specific thread i was thinking of ,and yes very sad some people must have a bit of a surge to the brain of some sort when they hide behind a username :rolleyes:
 
because they are sad individuals who are either quiet little mice in real life and like to pretend they're some hard nut online or they are delusional and think they are something special;) take your pick, either way they are sad:)
 
I don't get it either, seems so unnecessary to upset people especially if they are just genuinely looking to share their news, seek advice, share problems or whatever...

It often seems as though they have a need to appear superior when in reality they come across as the exact opposite.
 
I find that a lot of people act tougher when online because they have a sense of anonymity and feel that their actions won't have any repercussions.

lol ERR ! im not the spelling police- just someone who cant see the point in being nasty. i love a debate as much as the next poster-but some people should re read their replies before pressing the post button. is being hurtful the new sport on here?:rolleyes: love the sign FW .x

FfionWinnie is right. There are people who have nothing better to do than belittle others. This happens in any forum. Ignore them. Most of those who post here are sympatheitc. Yes we may well disagree - and that is fine. But do it politely!

So agree ! Paula you are def not the poster in question. There is new evil in our midst who has also been naive enough to respond to this thread . Obviously thinking we Havnt yet fussed it out
