Did any of you go this weekend? I was there today and felt inspired to ride by Jean and the riders and horses

I really liked MacBrian the horse ridden by Amy Stovold - my type of horse - well I can dream

I went and really enjoyed it! He was even better than last year.

I thought the grey mare was very interesting, as Jean really helped the rider improve her way of going (it was an interesting horse to begin with. It seemed to be completely different at the start when it walked in, to when it started working).

Also good to see Emile riding the young stallion and how Jean asked him to insist that the stallion accept the leg.

MacBrian was gorgeous and very good to see the piaffe improving through more relaxation. I think he is definately a horse to watch for the future.

Maria seemed to get a lot more out of her ride on the second day as well and I got the impression she found the sessions very useful.

Uthopia was pretty amazing, but probably less interesting in terms of training as Jean did not have much to say.

I'm off to try leaning back on my horse, pushing it's tail down while doing flying changes!!!

Know what you mean about the grey. When she first came in I did wonder how she would manage dressage but I've got to say I was impressed.

I really liked Jean's attitude to training although I think I'll give the leaning back and touching base of tail a miss. Don't think I could do it if I tried

Amy's horse was certainly my favourite and will be looking out for their results in future.

I'm on a mission now to improve my girl's extended trot.
