National Dressage Champs in Cavan

Only 2 weeks away!

Anybody else going? It's my first time and I'm pretty nervous..also I had totally forgotten about the no whips rule and slightly freaking out aha,any tips on how to survive?

Not been for the Dressage champs but have jumped there loads. Stabling is fab. If your horse has white legs be sure to get them well scrubbed after the big sand arena as it can occasionally cause irritation. Be prepared for walking....if stabled up the very top you will be very fit after a few days walking up the hill to the stables. If you walk up the track by the warmup arena up the hill there is a lovely spot there to let horses have a pick of grass. Definitely try the steak in the restaurant...its yum! And then prepare to be underwhelmed by every over show centre you go to after. The Clarkes run an incredible show and you'll really enjoy it. Best of luck
