Ted made his debut at the National Hunter Supreme Championship Show at Addington Manor on Tuesday afternoon and did the Lightweight Ladies Hunter. It was only his fourth show sideways, and his first since qualifying for HOYS a month ago. He went really well, as did all of the exhibits, and he got 2nd - which was an amazing result, and it qualified him for the Championship class in the evening under lights infront of a packed stand. He went perfectly, but wasn't placed in the championship, as the two First placed horses got champion and reserve. We were not in the slightest bit disappointed as he went brilliantly, and the experience of being indoors infront of a crowd was great in the run up to HOYS.
So proud of our boy in his first year. Roll on Birmingham!

Here are a couple - apologies for the quality, these were taken from the other side of a huge arena...

I wish I was at HOYS to watch you this year but I don't think we'll be there (maybe though - watch this space!

Glad it's going well for you!

We are very excited to be competing at HOYS, but we are not expecting anything from it - it will be fab just to be there competing alongside all the experienced horses. DC and I will be very excitable when he goes into the main arena - a dream come true for us!
