The foal I liked was Florencio x Jet set D

The beautiful filly, Charming Lady, was the champion foal in Holland this year! I think it may be very £££££!! Last year top price was 64,000 Euros!!
 
I would go for no. 66 the dam is none other than the dam of painted black!! yum yum!!
Also would have a space for no. 6 and the no. 23 i think thats the Bismark one .....
i so used to love going here when i lived in Holland so many gorgeous foals...

had a nosey at those foals!! had to close the box as sooooo many lovely ones!! would end up seriously broke!! i did like the look of number 5, 16, 23!! then stopped looking before i end up totally broke!!!!

) Seriously though, there are some extra special foals on that site!
 
The grand dam jorinde (dam's side) of No 33 is my 3 year old filly dam! Hope she will have some babies like him in the future!

Am i right in thinking all these foals were invited to the sale? That they couldn't just be entered as in a normal sale situation but had to be invited?
 
Catza a judging panel selects all the foals for the Elite Foal Auctions in Holland. There are several auctions with some smashing foals. The same with the recent Hanoverian Elite Foal Auction, all the ones I picked for it were over 20,000 euros!! The Prince Day auction can hold some of the highest prices along with Borculo and Brabant.

I could sit and drool over quite a few foals, but the same goes for each year.......LOL.

Wish I had the luck of the people who purchased the lovely black Jazz stallion "Westpoint". He was sold at one of the foal auctions for around 3,000 euros. He was then selected for the Stallion Test at Ermelo this year at Den Bosch, was then purchased "out the back of the ring" by VDL Stud. At Ermelo he was Champion Dressage Stallion and has just gone on to win the Pavo Cup Final in Holland last week with high marks in all the sections, with Carl Hester as one of the guest riders!!

Talk about a fairytale story!!
