Native pony search

I stand corrected :D I'll call him a forrester :D

SShhhh don't tell hubby he has a value I keep telling him ponies are sold for meat money as no-one wants one - especially one thats going to end up grey - the most awful of awful undesirable mucky colour ;)

Ooh is he dappled at the mo? I absolutely love dapple grey! Mind you they do show the muck easier LOL! Post a pic of him!

Has she thought about an exmoor? They are a bit smaller (mine is for sale and will make 12.2hh+) but take up a huge amount of leg! I am 9 stone and 5ft6 and dont look too big on her!
She is so forward going and has placed in top 3 everytime out last year in hand. She was 4 this year and is now backed and walk, trot, canter under saddle and hack. She is also very very easy to look after needing no rugs and feet trim very rarely (3 times a year). I'm asking in the region of £1200.

Pm me for pics or more details.

If you want to swap for a nutty Arab let me know, id love an Exmoor one day :)

I'm a real fan of our Native ponies generally - I think we have some fabulous breeds that we should be rightly proud of. I've ridden Fell, Dales, Exmoor, Welsh and Connemaras and had great fun on them all. Now I have a New Forest of my own - let's hear it for the Natives!!

Northumberland in the north east but I know she's willign to travel.

Thanks for all your inputs/help, i'll be sure to let her know :)

I've seen a few of the ponies that Lucy at Chesthill produces and she does have some cracking ponies. We take the photos at the local show and hers always look fab.
I'm a fell fan like Walrus, my sister has 2, had hoped it would be 3 by now but wasn't to be. They have such different personalities and much as the older one should be more sensible than baby she definately isn't.
