Natural Pain Relief Devils Claw Products....Help

[In The Real World]

Hi there,

I am looking at buying a natural herbal pain relief for my 20yr gelding who has Navicular.

What experiences and products can anyone recommend plse? I believe a Devils Claw is supposed to be very good but wouldn't have a clue which to
try as there seems to be so many out there, liquid form and dry herby types!

I use dried devil's claw from Pro Earth (they have an ebay shop). It is far cheaper thsn the liquid versions.

My farrier absolutely swears by DC and I am sure it is helping pony.

We use Zerobute (which contains Devil's Claw), by Feedmark, for our very stiff & arthritic 24 year old mare in the winter. I can honestly say what a different horse it's made her! From a lame-looking, unsound stiff horse would would struggle to walk around in winter, to a loose and happy, pain-free horse! She's just so different on it. We tried taking her off it, but she soon returned to her unhappy self again. Would really rate this, and their other products. Call their advice line if you like, they're very helpful. Would also try it with Extraflex HA with Rosehips, keeps her joints supple, and pain-free.

I used Progessive Earth's Herbs4mobility. It contains Devils claw, meadowsweet, celery seed, clivers and nettle. Kept my arthritic gelding sound.

Another one who used Progressive Earths Herbs4mobility, used it for 3 years on my arthritic mare and it kept her sound until I lost her to laminitis and cushings
