Went out to catch the ponies and bring them in for the day as my boy is rather weighty. Small companion pony there, but no Worry. First thought, he's lying injured somewhere, as he's always ready to come in, standing by the gate.
Called him, nothing.
With rising panic walked to the far end of the field and there he is nicely camouflaged by the hedge, on the wrong side of the electric fence and looking like an over inflated balloon.
I called again and he trotted over, huffing I'm late with his breakfast!
He has had a tiny handful of Hi Fi Lite and am now waiting for his stomach to subside a litte before riding him.
At least he's alright, but I could have strangled him at the time.
