Saturday morning I could feel a rather lot of cold air coming in to our fairly snug kitchen. Checked the windows - nothing open. Checked the doors, all shut tight and nothing ajar. Later as the sun was coming up a bit I could see something out on the lawn that sort of resembled....the door...to the cat flap! Merlin had removed the door to the cat flap (for the second time) and left it out in the garden - this time rendering it totally useless. So OH had to go out and buy a whole new cat flap and install it (we'd been thinking of getting a bigger one anyway as our small dogs fit thru but only JUST). OH not hugely impressed with him, by the way....
