Every day he gets into some sort of mischief but surpassed himself yesterday. Having already cost us an absolute fortune with the tack he's eaten, including our equissage massager (£2,500 worth), plus emergency trip to the vets on August Bank Holiday when he ran off and ate a syringe of bute meant for one of the horses (that cost us daily treatment for a few weeks at a cost of hundreds of pounds), yesterday he decided to eat the nozzle off of one of the fire extinguishers and then climbed up onto the balcony of his verandah (he's got a wendy house with a verandah not a kennel for him) and managed to eat some of the roof off! He will be one year old in December and we are praying that he gets out of this habit - unfortunately we know both his mum and dad, and whilst his dad is perfectly behaved, his mum isn't!!!! My poor GSD (who is a year older) looks on at this pup with absolute disbelief as to what he's doing. Thank goodness he doesn't copy the younger one. It's getting embarrassing now when I pop into town with yet another leather headcollar or bridle to have to be re-stitched, they just ask "What's he done now". The problem is, when he isn't doing these naughty things, he is the most adorable pup you could wish for. He has the run of the whole yard and paddocks so he gets the exercise but the most comical thing is watching him play chase with the other dog round and round the horse walker.
