My boy diagnosed with navicular in March, had tildren and remedial farrier. Also prescribed navilox, vet says to use it for 3 months. Does anyone use it all the time? Don't really understand what it does and how it works. Any info anyone? Good news is he seems sound on it.

It increases blood flow. Personally I'd be looking at restoring hoof function, probably barefoot (well, definitely barefoot for me, but REALLY well shod can be almost as effective but hoof balance and function is criitcal) which will be the natural way to improve blood flow and actually addresses the underlying issue whereas these drugs simply address a symptom.

Im using Navilox, not sure how much it works tbh. We are barefoot. Most peoples opinions are that it does Bow Diddle. ;)
