Navy or black?

Just for fun...

I want to invest in a jacket and a nice velvet riding hat to take part in jumping competitions etc (I've never competed before).
I was just wondering what people thinks looks nicer, navy or black?
Or do you have to wear black?

I wear navy as it goes better with my horse i like black too though, looks nice and sharp. i guess its just personal prefernce

I just can't make my mind up

My horse is black so do you think black to match him would be better? Or maybe then there would be too much black everywhere? Argh, I dunno.

I like navy for ladies and black for gents. But in SJ anything goes - judging by some of the photos in H&H.
I think Navy with a champagne breech would look fab with a black horse!

Buy both!! I did in the end, but on the basis that these hardly are a fashion item, and the only reason for changing them is if you get too fat... I ended up with both. I err towards the blue (I have a gray horse) BUT the sensible thing I did was to buy a heavier jacket in blue and a thinner one in Black albeit both are Lucinda Green. And there was a long interval inbetween while my pocket recovered...!
