nearly A hand

Dose (sp) anyone know anything about the thoroughbred stallion Nearly A Hand? I used to ride one of his offspring, my horse of a lifetime.I can't find anything about on line.Many thanks

Are you sure it wasn't Nearly-a-nose? He's a TB who stood over here and I have a mare by him. Possibly nearly a hand was by nearly a nose?

I don't know anything about Nearly A Hand, I'm afraid, but there is a lovely TB advanced endurance mare by him, called Burrowshot Lass, who is in foal to my stallion. Very attractive and talented mare.

I'll try to find out if her owner knows any more about Nearly A Hand, OK?

Nearly A Hand was by the stallion Busted out of a mare by Hook Money. He was foaled in 1974. So I doubt that he is still with us, at 24 years of age, but you never know.

Thanks for the replys.I'm just very curious to know what he was like.The horse I used to ride was a hunter and point to pointer,16.3 chestnut with fab paces and big jump(has been known to jump 5 bar gates from trot,without being asked!!).
