Who loves/hates bling?

I'm really not a fan of bling on horses! I think plain, quality tack is much more stylish and elegant. I think the brightly coloured grooming gear, numnahs, bandages, coolers etc that are around now are quite fun though

I show a native so its all business for me thanks!

I've started doing more dressage and use a raised nose band...I was horrified when I put that on my nice D's head...I couldn't put bling on there too, he'd look like a tit!

I think nothing looks better than good quality plain, well fitted and simple tack.

Brightly coloured things for everyday that can be removed are good though- saddle cloths ect.

Sister and I bought a cheapo bling AND coloured bridle each in Robinsons sale :O. In our defence they were both for fancy dress (our RC does loads!!) Sisters is grey with white crystals, to go on her 16:3 Grey IDx, mine is green with green crystals, to go on my mainly chesnut 15:3 Appy

Star has a diamante browband. That's all though.

In my defence all my ponies have had diamante browbands. They must have been around for at least 15 years now!

HATE bling. Sparkly, pink, purple etc yuk.
But then, I'ma bit of a hypocrirt, as I have a diamonte browband for my donkey called Cinderella, the kids think it's great!
