My pony has copd and is really struggling at the moment, vets have suggested a nebuliser but i am not sure what exactly they meant, is there a certain one that is better suited for horses and is there any "medicine" that can be used with it?
If anyone has used one or is still using one i would appreciate your advice/opinion as to best one to use etc. Thanks in advance.

What drugs does he currently take daily if any? Have a look into Equine Science, I have just recently used a product of theirs called Pulmon Plus for a breathing/cough issue and was so amazed by the results.

Thanks for the replies. He is on inhalers and airways (global herbs) at present but has ventapulmin when he really struggles. Also has been on another drug wth the ventapulmin but cannot remember the name of it.
The vet suggested a nebuliser as in the long run it would be cheaper. Steroids have been discussed but the pony is high risk of getting laminitis after.
