Neck fracture and subluxation experiences please

My horse has just been diagnosed with a C4 fracture and subluxation. He's just starting 12 weeks box rest.

Anyone got any experience of this type of injury? How well did it heal? What level of work and movement did the horse achieve?

Any tips on best treatment and rehab advice?

Just need some reassurance that he will be fixed

No experience and not a vet, but assuming that he doesn't have ataxia as a result then I believe that most horses go on to develop and compete normally. Thanks for the links Apple cart. He has no neurological signs so we are purely treating the fracture.
Just looking for some positive stories abour this type of injury
