Here's Ned showing off a painting him and Cookie did :)
Annie actually contributed later with 3 black paw prints!

I bought some kids non-toxic paint and a cheap canvas today, so I figured I'd let the boys (and girl!) be creative!!
I cleaned Ned's hoof, then painted on it, he was such a good boy and didn't mind the paint, or the canvas!
Cookie was less obliging with paint on his hoof, but had great fun smudging it around with his lip :P

I know it must seem silly, but I will treasure this painting forever! I just wish Holly could have done something, I'm sure I'll find a way to make her a part of it though :)

Lovely idea, seriously thinking about doing it myself! How did you prevent them stomping right through it? (I see you've got one snag, but otherwise it's just the paint prints) my boy is a big lad and I envisage bringing back a canvas with a series of hoof sized holes in it.

I think I was just lucky :P apart from that one tear.
Also - might be no science to back it up, but my thinking was that don't go too close to the corners (my mistake) and the shallower the better :D

I have done paw prints from the dogs before but never thought of hoofprints, what a great idea, I can see it would be a great half term occupation! Every child should have a copy of their ponies hoofprint!
