Neddy got a make-over from a fellow HHOer!

carefreegirl came to see me and Neddy today, to give me some tips on how to get him ready for the show on sunday
He stood perfectly to get his feathers trimmed, but when it came to do this plaits...not going to lie...he was being a bit of a brat! Still, CFG managed to do 2 beautiful plaits, but sadly mine were pants. Practice, practice practice! I think all my horse figures are going to be plaited up soon...
She also plaited his tail beautifully, something which I'll need to practice a LOT.

After we had got Neddy all shiny and lovely, it was time to get him all muddy again on a hack! CFG rode Ned and I rode Monty, who decided he was going to be a plod for once!

Well, I am very impressed with both Ned and CFG as before long, they'd both taken the lead, which is not an easy thing to do on Ned!

So, thank you again carefreegirl!! I had a fantastic time and learnt a lot about plaiting

Not that I doubted her abilities, I am extremely impressed with how well CFG got Neddy working It's really given me the inspiration I needed to push myself to be better

Ned looks well but CFG makes him look teeny tiny. She must have the longest legs!

HAHA! I'm sure it's just the angle I've looked like I was riding a tiny pony once and sometimes I look completely over horsed :O

Will do when I can't get up to see Ned, I'll practice on my My Little Ponies They'll move less too!
