Ned's lameness, what do we think?

4 xrays and a nerve block (the first one worked ;) ) with sedation for xrays was less than £300 I think here. Also Nah if vets know you're not insured they can be a bit more conservative with the work they do :) - eg we did an extra xray plate on the basis that we had hit insurance excess anyway.

Good news re. the field :).

From memory, I paid about £700 for a hind lameness work up which included examination in hand, on the lunge and ridden, xrays of hocks and stifles from multiple angles, scans of stifles, hocks and suspensories, nerve blocks of stifles, hocks and suspensory branches (on different days) and sedation.

They must do :) to be fair the expensive one he was in there 3 days with tons of x rays, all limbs blocked and multiple sedation. The other one was there for a day and a night.
