Nedz bed

All mine are on it and I really rate it. As a muck heap owner (own yard) I love how it rots down superfast. It is very absorbent, doesn't blow about and is great for clean to moderately messy horses. It is too expensive for total bed trashers, though. I presume you are talking about Nedz 'Pro'. The Original is sometimes too dusty for my liking.

The guy who owns Pegasus products, Nick, is very helpful BTW.

As you say fine for cleaner horses. And keeping my gelding on it. But Calli is a total bed trasher. There is not one single "poo" in her stable that has not been sabotaged at some time in the night. There are little tiny bits everywhere. And as she walks too she is mixing the wet with it all and there is no way it can be separated. The only way to keep her clean would be 3 bales a week. So sorry Calli back to straw for you. At least if I throw her entire bed out each week i will only be going through 3 or 4 bales a week at £1.50 rather than 3 of £4.70. But for clean horses, yes I rate it. Only use a bale a fortnight on my gelding!!!

Lady next to me keeps her 2 horses on it, and she really really rates it! Its been treated etc plus she only uses about a bale a fortnight on each bed, as it stays very clean, you just dg the wet patches out and cover over. Its not as dusty as shavings too. Im going to switch and go on it

i really rate it already! my yearling is so clean on this and the wet is absorbed alot better than shavings and no dust!!
