Up until now, I’ve been riding my green mini cob with a short jumping whip just to get him used to someone carrying one. I prefer a schooling whip but the one I have for my horses is 120cm and so too long for mini cob’s short body. I’ve worked out that 90cm would be an ideal length but that seems to be an odd length to source.

I’m also quite picky when it comes to whips. I have small hands and so like one with a thin handle. I also have a bit of a thing about it feeling balanced. I usually tend to go for Fleck, but I can’t seem to find one of them in the right length so would be open to other recommendations.
Can anyone help me, please?

The Fleck Carbon comes in 100cm as the smallest size. That's a great whip. Would that extra 10cm be too much?

I've used this whip too. It's got a comfy handle (not bulky) and it is lightweight. https://www.waldhausen.com/en/riders/spurs-and-whips/dressage-whip-classic.html
Thanks. I think the extra 10cm might make it too long. ? It's a shame as I've had that whip before (until my destroyer of a horse stood on it.) I'll look at the other one you suggested.
Shires do a 32"/ 82cm one, would the be too short? https://shiresequestrian.com/catalo...2/s/economy-schooling-whip-7607/category/134/

Def good for small hands too and reasonably light
Thanks. Will have a look.
