need a different fit across the chest then Masta rug - any ideas?

I knew it didnt fit particularly well over her chest but other rug was sopping and needed to put something on her last night and thought she would be OK for one night. Went out this morning and she minced in crab like fashoin across the field to me obviously feel very sore across her chest and shoulders - she almost breathed a sigh of relief when I ran over and undid it. She will wear a rain sheet tonight with fleece underneath but need to invest in a different m/w with detachable neck for her. The rug seemed to really pull just at the point of the shoulder so the neck line needed to be higher I think.

Can anyone make any recommendations? thankeees

THe newer masta's don't really fit my girl across the front either - but I have found the Amigo and PE rugs fit well - and I like the neck attachments on both of these rugs

I find shires very accomodating for my broad ISH x

I like Weatherbeeta for our broad ISHs - the Amigos are not generous enough

I like weatherbeetas for the broader types too, the horseware rugs are better for the thoroughbred types.

I had the exact same problem! Just bought a bigger size which did the trick, fits alot better although the neck is to long but it seems to be sitting alot better now its scrunched a little

Another vote for the Weatherbeetas but the ones with the original side gussets NOT the Freestyle ones.
Amigos are very narrow.

weatherbeeta are definately better for broader shouldered horses - I have my welsh d in masta but I think next year, as she fills out, she'll need weatherbeeta!

Another vote for Weatherbeeta! They have more space across the chest and sholders for the wider ones. Mastas always look a bit small and pinched on my broad and deep lad.
