Need a fan for my lorry

Hi all,

I need to get some more ventilation in my lorry - 4 open windows are not enough to keep my boy cool

I can't find any info about fans and the like, can anyone advise? The cheaper the better

It won't be 'cheap'.

You will need to go to a horsebox coachbuilder and ideally show them your lorry. They can advise you how many fans are needed and where's best to position them

All Defra Type 2 transporters have them in the ceilings and wired into the lorry electrics etc

OH who is mechanic and pretty handy at general DIY has a fan off an old car which he has master plans for putting in the lorry.

I put up a similar post for my trailer - horses get too hot even with the 4 windows open :-( No suggestions tho!

Thanks, think I will chop holes in the roof and put vents in. Managed to waterproof and insulate myself so far

I can't find anything online about them, will contact the coach builder suggested.

Have you tried the rotating roof vents? I had them put in my trailer. Or even more roof vents?
