Last year I was working for a guy who breeds racehorses breaking in a couple of his 2 year olds. One of which was a super little bay colt by One Cool Cat out of a mare called Hunzy, when they went into training I said to him to let me know when he finishes racing and I would be there with a horsebox and a cheque.

He died on the gallops this morning :(

He was the most full of himself little horse with a big personality and I loved him to bits, it's also very sad that this has happened 10 days after his first win at Windsor after only 5 races in his career - what a kick in the teeth :(

RIP Garfield, I will miss you little man and your black eyebrow!

HUGE ((((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

YO had to have a horse put down at our yard a few days ago, complete and total shock, and it's horrible. I'm so sorry xx

What a terrible blow for you, and everyone who loved him. Poor little chap. :(

I hope his end was quick and he didn't suffer too much. :(

Poor Swifty, he was a cracking little horse. Glad I got to ride him and lead him up at Goodwood when I was at John's. He was one of my favourites and taught me a lot, being a bit of a quirky ride! RIP Garfield, very sadly missed :(

He was a sod at times! Decked me quite spectacularly when we first let him off the leadrope when he was broken in! I used to call him Monkey when he was still at his breeders.
