Hi, I'm Lydia, I'm 19 and I've been involved with horses on and off all my life. After loaning for a considerable amount of time I decided it was right to buy one of my own. I bought Dottie, my now 4 year old mare who I broke in over the spring (2013). She is amazing and coming on really well with her schooling, but is ultimately my baby happy hacker. So, on Friday after speaking to some people I know, I managed to get myself involved with a complicated situation about a yearling with no home, soooo I said I'd give her one. She is beautiful but she is untouched. I know I have a big job on my hands but I definitely believe I am capable of the job, with the equine help I'm surrounded with here, at home and at the yard. So really I am asking for anyone who has had a yearling, to share their experiences, halter training tips and skills with me & also, she needs a name! I can't figure out how to add a picture but she is a cheeky looking palomino fine cob X to make 15.1/2. Thanks everybody! X
