Mine has moved up north, so looking for a new one. It'll be to trim a 2 year old and fronts on an ex racer. My standards are very high and I don't put up with any less than perfect even though it's "just a trim". Went through a few sloppy farriers before I found a good one! So anyone recommend any excellent farriers that cover Maidstone?

Try Ben edmed, he's got posters up and a few adverts and things on facebook at the mo, he was very good with my mares and came out just for 2 trims! :)

We have a farrier who lives in Maidstone, his name is Richard, couldn't tell you his surname but could pass on number. He's a lovely lovely man, always bang on time and is very quiet with the horses.. Maybe worth a try? (:

Gary Burton - typical flirty farrier but always balanced the hoof really well, and Chris Wiggins who I originally came across as Gary's apprentice.

James Carr might do that area, he's based in Bredhurst. Used him for years before I moved, mostly for trims as my horses werent shod at the time. He is brilliant with horses, very calm and a lovely guy.
