What is a guy like him selling for these days?:D
Thanx

He looks gorgeous and think she is pricing him too cheap - I would be looking for the catch...unsoundness, won't hack, won't load or something. The price would put me off. At least £5K - £6K would be more what I would expect

He is a star:)
He was up for £8k,dropped to £4.5k with still no interest so he isnt cheap, and well worth the original price, but i think £6k in this climate reasonable for a sound sane horse like him that is doing well?
And he is....good to clip/load/farrier/vet/teeth etc etc:) and very Sound!

Price was dropped over a period of wks btw, lol! We slapped her as he shouldnt be going for any less than £6K

Sorry I misread your post, I thought he was for sale at £3500. I think he's advertised at a very fair price and £8K wouldn't have surprised me at all. All I can think is that the wording of the advert is putting people off for some reason

Think i may get a list of his achievements off her and ask you guys to word an advert for him, thankyou for that as i thought £8k was more than reasonable and when she dropped to £5.5k i thought she had dropped way to much...the plus side for this guy is he isnt quirky in any way:)

5-6k sounds pretty reasonable to me from the description. This might just be me, but he doesn't really *look* 16hh in the advert. From the first picture I sort of scaled everything down in my head, and saw a 14hh ish pony. If other people are seeing this the way I do, it could be that they are skimming past it, or that they just don't believe from the pictures he is a full up 16hh (and unfortunately I would guess most people on here have been to look at a horse that was a good hand shorter than advertised, so people do tend to be a bit suspicious).
Not really got any idea why I see it as a pony (perhaps the jumping shape in the first picture and that your friend looks quite young?) so I'm not sure how to fix the problem. Its probably just me anyway though.
