Hi, my niece is riding a pony in the m&m lead rein class for my future mother in-law at Devon County.

They have told us we need to get all the gear for her. They are being quite fussy and said we need pretty ponies or very similar, brown tweed, navy collar etc, but my sister doesn't want to spend 100's of pounds for a jacket she is using 3 times! Any ideas?

Has to be tweed for M&M - preferably green or brown. Black is a colour that should not be worn for showing - tweed or if appropriate, navy is to be worn.

Oops - just shows how much I know about showing - zero!

Have a look in Tuckers of Ashburton, they had quite a few second hand small jackets in there today, and also have some nice cheaper new jackets for sale.
I would ignore their demands , so long as it is a smart jacket it should do fine.
How about ringing Goatlake at Baronswood, they have loads of small jockeys who used to ride their show ponies, and might well know of a second hand jacket for sale, it may even be a pretty ponies one

Or try Joyce Newberry at Alphington, she may also know of one.

Thank you everyone! Will try Tuckers, tried ebay nothing yet, she tried on a 24" pretty ponies jacket, fitted around waist but too long!
