Need an equine vet in the wirral

So have finally found pony number 2

but need some to find a vet to vet it!! Anyone know of any good ones in the wirral? Postcode of the yard is CH64.

dont know if leahurst do vettings, but thomas and walters in nantwich are very good also hampton vetinary centre, niether are on the wirral but are anly 20 mins away and both have clients that way. i have friends that live on the wirral and use these 2 practices

You could try Wrexham Veterinary Care too. (08700 624710) These are a newish group set up by some former Hampton and Rossdales vets and are getting a very good reputation in our area. My neighbours use them (we're only five minutes away from Hampton too!) and finds them not only very good but competitive too. They do everything from vettings, to full diagnostic, medical and reproductive work including AI; castrations, dentistry, endoscopy, insurance work, ultra sound, radiography etc (can you tell I'm reading off their leaflet, lol!?)

Thomasson and Walters are based in Brereton. Google them as Cheshire Equine Vets.

One of their vets, Alan, does live close to Leahurst (his OH works at Leahurst). He tends to cover most of the calls that way, which reduces call out for clients.
