I have our own livery yard. All horses are stabled at night. All clipped and ridden daily.
We have our 2 year old living out with a 1year old at the moment but the woman who owns the 1year is pregant and has extreme pain so cant come down so is sending the 1year old to a friends herd.
So in 1week we have him out on his own and need to find company asap.
Ideally we want him out with another youngster as he has not matured yet and he loves the company of the 1year old. Where's a good place to advertise for a youngster? Would a unridden companion be good enough company, ie playing.
We do have a stable but then he would need to come in with the other horses and sometimes stay in all day, which I do not want to do.
I'd love to buy another youngster but 3horses is hard enough.
