Need Feeding advice

I have a mare she needs more energy she is currently on gain equestrian mix the problem is that it 13 percent do you think it to high for her. i was thinking of changing to gain cool and easy it a 10 percent mix . Is it worth changing the feed or should I stick to what I have her on she also gets speedie beet .

You should really add more info....hows her weight? What breed is she? What’s the level of work she’s doing? How old is she?

A lot of factors to consider really rather than saying “she needs more energy”

What about forage? I don’t personally like mixes. To me, it sounds like her whole diet needs evaluation in accordance with her aside, weight and workload. Perhaps wait for someone to come along on here who can help more or call a feed company.

not really overly helpful.

to me it sounds like you’re not feeding her enough. She should have ad-lib forage, this will be why she’s lethargic. You’re working her too hard for the amount you’re feeding.
