Need help in Product Design Coursework - Horsey Related

I am in Year 13 at school and am doing Design and Technology. This year I have free reign in whatever product I make but I've been advised to base it on a hobby or interest so I can sustain it for the whole year. So does anyone encounter any regular problems that they think need a product solution?

Things I have wished for in the past

Strong fintooth combs for getting scaps out of B's mane
Something to lift the rugs off rug rubs
