Need Help!

Ok, so Madam_Max and I are competing in the Team Dressage competition at Sparsholt on 4th/5th August. One of our team members has just found out she cant make it and we desperatly need another person to take her place, otherwise we loose our entrie fee (£40 each for four tests).

Basically we need someone who can ride 4 elementary tests, and the horse and rider must not have competed above medium level (affliated or unaffliated).

If the worst comes to the worst i can ride the elementaries, but we would still need someone to take my place in the novice class.

All 3 of us are staying over night, and there is a 4th stable booked for the other team member who now cant make it. That would mean the total cost is £55.

I can provide overnight stabling on the friday night if anyone from further away wants to do it - atho im not sure how much my YO would charge.

As its a team thing we all have to be there from beginning to end (if you see what i mean) so we'l be there early saturday morning, then we are staying over for the BBQ and sleeping in the lorries (BBQ tkts are £10 each and i think there are two going spare now)

I could possibly bring my cripple! We would certainly be laughed at in the elementary and could possibly scrape 50% if you are really desperate? Stand a slightly better chance in the Novice but he hasn't done a test for god knows how long.

Couldn't stay the entire weekend though, would come over for each day.

3) i dont think you would want me being a showjumper doing it
4) i could only do the novice

I could drag Boss out of his summer field and ride a few elem tests, he'd fit in with the fat dressage horse stereotype

If you really needed someone I could bring something capacble of producing good scores at novice level but our only elem horse is just sold

I would do the novice on Cookie if you really were that very desperate, but I'm working all weekend!

We were going to send a team but were missing a team member as Mrs P can't compete, having done BD above medium. Plus all ours are lame!

a) horse is not ready for elementary
b) am going to Patchetts on the 5th and Area festival on 7th

I dont mind doing them when its just me, so if i mess it up it dosent matter - but as its for the 'team' i dont want to let everyone down

I would have come over as it sounds like a good weekend, but Grace and I are certainly not at an elementary level... had I got Hannah back in work I could have brought her without a problem.
