I was at Grove Heath Liveries and loved it there, have only moved to keep my horse out at grass with my youngster (same yard manager too). I can't fault the yard, manager, liveries, paddocks, lovely school. The hacking isn't too bad, you do have to cross the a3 bridge but I would go out for hours over to Wisley and other fields and bridle ways. I never had to worry about my horse when he was there, his feet would be picked out, rugs would be changed according to weather. Very peaceful yard where you can just get on and enjoy your horse. Very highly recommended and the best yard/care I have had.

I visit Little Owls to teach (and they have my little welsh pony as a play mate!!) In my opinion the most perfect set up yard!!

Lovely big boxes, fields have drainage 2 schools, covered horse walker, hacking on site plus a gate to more.

The yard has a lovely calm atmosphere which does not happen in many big yards...and the current managers are really in to getting this yard doing well (just brought a very smart set of sj and xc fences etc)

Wrth a visit as I think it will become full very quickly :-)

I was at Clandon and Clasford years ago so not sure how much they have changed but do know that hacking from Clasford is awful and pretty much none existent without lots of road work but big yard with 2 sandschools and often sj paddock in summer. Clandon has limited farm hacking then you have to cross a BUSY duel carriage way to get to better hacking. Personally because I hack 3 or 4 times a week neither yard would be for me, even though my horse is fantastic in traffic I wouldn't want to risk either of the very busy roads myself.

What are you looking for? I am at Hillside yard just down the road from Clandon towards West Horsley or there is Woolgars that way too who have their own xc course.
