I had a nasty fall so need a new riding hat. Chances are I'll fall off again so I don't want to spend loads on a new hat I may have to replace quite soon.
Any recommendations? I like either velvet or the newish design with vents in.
Thanks!!

Depends on the shape of your head

My head likes Charles Owen, whilst my pocket likes Champion

There is only one way to buy a new hat - go to a good tack shop with a decent range and then buy the one that fits best.

Whilst I understand not wanting to spend much on something that may need replacing again you can't replace your head so easily!! Was reminded of this at the yard last week when one of the liveries fell and landed on his head - he currently has no recent memory and is waiting for it to come back.
