I part loan an arab and am about to take her onto full loan with a view to buy starting in September, but my OH has just been suspended from work pending an investigation into possible gross misconduct (which he most certainly didn't do) but he has a hearing on Friday and could be fired on the spot. If he is, not only will I not be able to have my horse on full loan, I will have to give her up completely! I have never full-loaned or owned a horse and I was so excited yesterday morning until about 10am when OH phoned to tell me the news. Sorry, I just needed to share how I feel as I am gutted and really scared for what will happen on friday, I don't want to wait that long, I want to know what's happening. Thanks for listening.

Thanks to everyone who posted, luckily we got a phone call this afternoon to say he can go back to work tomorrow, they got it all wrong. They still want to talk to him about something but it's nowhere near as serious as gross misconduct and so everything is going to be fine. I have gone back to being very very, over-the-top style excited! Before we got the phone call, when things were still up in the air, I went to the yard and took Belle for a good gallop in the field, isn't it amazing that no matter how bad things are, when you see your horse and have a good ride you can forget everything and feel on top of the world? I can't stop thanking her for that. Thanks again everyone.
