Need some good XC/Eventing boots - Not too pricey!

Im hoping someone here can recommend me some good protective boots for mainly XC.

At the moment i use Clarendons but they are getting old so would like some new ones. Should i buy more of these or are there any other decent boots out there that you could recommend?

I have been looking at Tri Zone boots but dont know of anyone who has them to give me feed back.

I would sell my Aircooled Premier Equine hinds if you are interested - they are medium sized in immaculate condition, used twice. I'm just not that happy with the fit. Would suit a taller thinner leg than my wee highland x shorty.
