Hello everyone, I don't get the chance to come on here often and now feel bad that when I do I am asking for some help! And yes, it's one of those "how much" posts.

I am sadly having to sell my Welsh section a :-( and have had lots of interest but only one viewing who backed out at the last minute after I said he had suffered a bout of laminitis in a previously loan home (the first and last time he has suffered).

Most people wont arrange a viewing due to where I live.

I am starting to think something must be putting people off so am desperate for some guidance as want to find my lovely little chap a nice home.

I am not sure if I can post the link to the ad on here ? He can be found on the Mountain and Moorland section on Horsemart - 12.2hh grey section a in Kent. Please take a moment to look and advise what sort of price I should realistcally be asking. I did have him up for a reasonable amount but am starting to wonder (and have been told) he was too cheap which potential buyers may have found off putting.

Details are clear on the add, but basic info is he is a 6yr old registered section a, grey, good in all ways. All tack and rugs with him apart from saddle which he does not have as it no longer fits.

Help....please x

No price appears on the add hun? It says n/a on the bit where the price should be? Correct me if I'm showing my blonde lol. Seems a lovely little chap

I have just renewed the ad today on horsemart - its been up all month with a price, this time I decided not to put a price and see what happens! Thats why I am asking what people think he's reasonably worth.

no price, but usually if you dont put a price then people just assume that its far too expensive, as for a price sorry no idea but good luck.

Possibly, this is why I thought several experienced pairs of eyes may assist. I was putting that phrase from my point of view - i/e I want him to go to someone who knows what they are doing, but I can see your point of it putting people off.

If I was looking for one of my kids I would be put off by the large jockey riding in the photos. Have you got any with a small child on him? Also where it says same home for 6 months made me chuckle a bit as that's not very long.

He looks a nice pony though.

No, says same home FROM 6 months lol! But agree with the absence of price being an issue - I'd think too expensive. Agree too that a littler rider might help. Have you got any pics of him inthe ribbons? He looks gorgeous - good luck x

Yes, Ive had him since he was 6 months old not for only 6 months!!
I don't have a smaller jockey hence part of the reason he is for sale and no photos of him in the ribbons sadly.
The ad doesn't have a price as that's my point - I am not sure what to put him up for. He was originally advertised first time round for £750 but I am wondering (after several opinions) whether this was cheap for a registered 6 yr old pure bred Welsh ?
