I usually just wear my muckers over winter as the mud at my old yard wasn't too bad just a slippery layer ontop of solid ground so they were fine but the new yard has a pretty deep muddy gateway so I'm going to need some that are a bit longer to go at least halfway up the bottoms of my legs, waterproof and as cheap as possible as I don't really have the money to replace my boots but getting muddy socks/ trousers daily is getting very annoying!!

Thanks in advance :)

I bought some long neoprene boots a couple of weeks ago. They were like Muck Boots but by "Gallop" and were £30 which I thought was quite good and they are nice and warm and comfy so far.

Also check out Aldi as they had some calf length ones a few weeks back but depends if they have any left in the right size. There was also something on Groupon for about £15 that was a calf length but it depends when the deal comes back on.

Woof Wear Spectrum boots. I got mine a couple of weeks ago and I love them. Although don't want to get them too muddy yet, so going up into muddy paddock in normal wellies which is rather slippery!! However, can ride in my Woof Wear boots, and they are really comfy. Very happy with them, but for durability I cannot say yet as have not had them long enough. However, they do come up true to size as in, I got a 5 which is fine but I can feel the end. They are getting more broken in now though.

Have seen the ones in Aldi and hope they still have my size tomorrow.
